Implikasi Makna Gambar dan Rupa Allah dalam Kejadian 1:26-27 untuk Diskursus Relasi Gereja dan Dunia di Toraja

Abstract

This article constructs an idea about the meaning of God’s image and likeness in humans in Genesis 1:26-27. The main question in this article is what does the theology of creation in the Old Testament contribute to the discourse on the relationship between the church and the world? This article also utilizes Manfred Oeming’s approach which tries to go beyond the interpretive approach that absolutizes one interpretive approach and is influenced by the spirit of positivism. Finally, this article will open the possibility of developing a constructive dialog with the Toraja context.
