About the Journal

Sangulele (noun) is a word in the Toraja language meaning comprehensive, holistic, or all-encompassing. In the context of an academic journal, Sangulele represents the idea that theological discourse embraces every aspect of conversations concerning human life.

SANGULELE Journal (e-ISSN: 3163-2610) is published biannually (May and November) by UKI Toraja Press. The journal publishes scholarly works in the fields of theology, contextual theology, religious studies, feminist theology, gender studies, and the philosophy of religion within the Indonesian and broader Asian contexts. It aims to foster critical reflection on diverse socio-cultural and religious realities.
