PRINSIP PENATUA SEBAGAI HAMBA ALLAH DALAM PELAYANAN JEMAAT GEREJA TORAJA BERDASARKAN 1 PETRUS 5:1-3

Abstract

Service is one of the important factors in community life, therefore the purpose of studying the principle of elders as servants of God is to see how a servant, especially elders in the Toraja church, should be based on 1 Peter 5:1-3. The research method used is qualitative with literature study. Stefanus said that the call to serve is a noble task that not all humans can obtain. Yemima also defines the call to serve as a willingness to commit to carrying out service duties as a form of faith, willingness and loyalty. The conclusion of this study is that as an elder there are several principles that must be lived based on 1 Peter 5:1-3, namely first, to live voluntarily. second, self-dedication. Third, have a humble attitude. and fourth, being able to be a role model.
