Church liturgy continues to evolve in response to ongoing social, cultural, and technological transformations, particularly in relation to the characteristics of Millennials and Generation Z. These generations are shaped by digital connectivity, critical attitudes toward institutional religion, and a preference for participatory and experiential forms of spirituality. This study aims to analyze strategies for liturgical renewal that effectively bridge tradition and innovation in order to enhance the engagement of young congregants. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, the research was conducted in churches that have implemented liturgical reforms. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with church leaders and young congregants, and analysis of liturgical documents, and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that conventional liturgical forms—often characterized by rigidity and limited congregational participation—tend to hinder meaningful engagement among younger generations. In contrast, effective models of liturgical renewal incorporate the integration of digital technology, participatory worship formats, and the use of music and creative expressions. These approaches contribute to increased attendance, active involvement, and deeper spiritual understanding among young congregants. This study argues that liturgical renewal should not be understood merely as pragmatic adaptation or modernization, but as a theological strategy that enables the church to remain relevant while preserving its doctrinal integrity. Accordingly, the study recommends a balanced and reflective approach to liturgical development, including the responsible use of technology, the promotion of active participation, and continuous evaluation to ensure alignment with the spiritual needs of the congregation. These findings contribute to ongoing discussions on contextual theology and offer practical insights for sustainable liturgical transformation.
