Abstract

Palm Fiber Concrete Brick merupakan suatu jenis unsur bangunan berbentuk
bata yang terbuat dari bahan utama semen Portland, air, dan agregat yang
dipergunakan untuk pasangan dinding. Banyak inovasi yang dilakukan dalam
memodifikasi batako baik dalam segi memodifikasi campuran ataupun
ditambahkan dengan bahan-bahan yang dapat meminimalir kekurangan batako
itu sendiri. Salah satunya dengan menambahkan abu serat ijuk dalam
pembuatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan
abu serat ijuk terhadap nilai kuat tekan batako. Metode yang digunakan adalah
eksperimen dengan total benda uji sebanyak 36 buah. Tiap variasi terdiri dari 12
sampel. Benda uji penelitian dibuat dengan perbandingan komposisi semen,
agregat halus, dan air dengan 3 variasi abu serat ijuk. Pengujian kuat tekan
dilakukan pada hari ke-3, 7, 14, dan 28 hari. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan
nilai kuat tekan optimum 10,6 Mpa dan termasuk dalam tingkat mutu IV. Kuat
tekan paling rendah yang diperoleh sebesar 9.1 Mpa dan termasuk dalam tingkat
mutu IV
