PURIFIKASI KADAR H2S PADA BIOGAS KOTORAN SAPI DENGAN ARANG KARBON DENGAN VARIASI PANJANG SARINGAN

Abstract

Biogas is an alternative fuel that has been widely used to reduce the use of fossil fuels. This study aims to analyze the decrease in H₂S levels with variations in filter length from two types of mixtures, namely the ratio of mixtures of 1: 1 and 2: 1. The method used in this study is the experimental method, which is testing the decrease in H₂S levels of biogas in cow dung. The results showed that the greatest decrease in H₂S levels was in a mixture of 2: 1 mesh 2.0 mm with a length of 120 cm filter which was equal to 43 ppm.
