This study aims to determine how much influence the SMAW welding current has on E 6013 electrodes with a diameter of 3.2 mm on the hardness, tensile strength and microstructure of the welding results.In this study the material used was low carbon steel then made the seam on each specimen where the seam used was a V and X seam which was welded with a current variation of 80 Ampere, 100 Ampere and 120 Ampere, with E 6013 electrode diameter 3.2 mm later testing of hardness and tensile strength.The highest hardness results occur in the welding current of 120 A which is 77.00 N/mm2 while the lowest hardness occurs at 80 A current which is 74.00 N/ mm2. The highest tensile strength value at 120 A current is 715,384 kg/mm2 while the lowest tensile strength value occurs at 80 A current which is 673,076 kg/mm2.
