Upaya Peningkatan Pemahaman Teks Eksposisi melalui Bantuan Media Koran Berbasis Metode Eksperimen Peserta Didik Kelas V

Through the help of newspaper media based on the experimental method. The type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out through 2 learning cycles. Each learning cycle is carried out in the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Sumbersari 3 as many as 24 students. The research instruments used were observation sheets and evaluation tests. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis based on the evaluation test results by looking at the percentage of classical student learning completeness. Based on the percentage of learning completeness in cycle I of 0% with an average of 42, 41 which shows classical completeness has not been achieved. In cycle II, the percentage of learning completeness was 83% with an average of 75. The implementation of exposition text learning through the help of newspaper media based on the experimental method to 2 cycles was able to improve the results of students' concept understanding. This explanation can be a reference for teachers and prospective teachers to improve student enthusiasm and learning outcomes.
