Abstract

The utilization of learning technology through artificial intelligence (AI) has brought significant transformation in education, becoming an imperative for improving the quality and effectiveness of learning. This article aims to examine teachers' perceptions regarding the use of AI-based learning technology and its impact on enhancing students' knowledge. This research employs a literature review method, with the reviewed articles encompassing research and academic literature published between 2020 and 2024, focusing on the application of AI in education. Data was collected through documentary study of relevant and up-to-date written sources. The review of 10 previous studies indicates a general consensus on AI's significant potential to personalize learning experiences, adapt content, and improve learning outcomes and student self-efficacy. AI is also deemed capable of optimizing teaching and assessment techniques, as well as increasing student motivation and engagement in the learning process. Nevertheless, challenges such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, digital divide, and implementation costs still need to be addressed. The implementation of AI requires careful consideration of existing opportunities and challenges, as well as the development of ethical guidelines and adequate training for educators.
