Analisis Peran Orangtua dalam Mendampingi Anak Belajar Pada Masa Pasca Pandemi Covid-19

This study aims to analyze the role of parents in assisting their children’s learning during the post-Covid-19 pandemic period in the second semester of fourth grade at SD Negeri Kadilangu 02 Demak. The post-pandemic era demands adaptation to face-to-face learning systems, making parental involvement a crucial factor. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving 25 parents. Results show that 80% of parents acted as tutors at home, 64% provided motivation, and 76% offered academic guidance. Additionally, 92% helped resolve learning difficulties, 92% advised children who showed low discipline, and all respondents (100%) gave appreciation for their children's achievements. Furthermore, 84% set good examples, 76% provided learning tools, and 84% created a supportive learning environment at home, although only 32% had a designated study space. The main challenges faced by parents included limited time (44%), lack of subject knowledge (32%), and distractions from gadget use (24%). These findings highlight the importance of synergy between schools, teachers, and parents in creating an effective learning environment, especially during the transitional phase of post-pandemic education. Sustained collaboration is needed to ensure the continuity and quality of children's learning.
