About the Journal

Kinaa is a word in Toraja languages which means full of wisdom. Kinaa is one of the core characters of Toraja culture. This character process is not instant. A person who is followed and emulated is one who has the character of quinine. Another character is manarang which means clever, barani means brave. These three things are the criteria of a leader in ordinary society. Kinaa is a character that is not easy and cannot be formed in a person and therefore not everyone can be a leader who has three characters at once. People can be rich and brave, but people can not kinaa or wise automatically, because is not an easy process. The Journal of the Faculty of Theology, UKI Toraja gives the name kinaa with the intention and of hope will be wise. It could start from the process of thinking and understanding to have the Kinaa character based on the Bible. The journal is expected to be a process of becoming kinaa. The focus and scope of this journal are theological-biblical thought about culture, religions and social contexts, and the modern world through contemporary theological thinking.
